I will be surety for him; of my hand shalt thou require him: if I bring him not unto thee, and set him before thee, then let me bear the blame for ever:
For except we had lingered, surely now we had returned this second time.
Genesis 43:9, 10

Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us:
Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

1 Timothy 3:2-6
And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless. 1 Timothy 3:10
