Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin:
Lest the land whence thou broughtest us out say, Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the land which he promised them, and because he hated them, he hath brought them out to slay them in the wilderness.   Deuteronomy 9:27, 28 


And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.   Deuteronomy 13:11 


Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.   Deuteronomy 15:9 


If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which the LORD thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the LORD thy God, in transgressing his covenant,

And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and inquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:
Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.   Deuteronomy 17:2-5 


When the host goeth forth against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing.   Deuteronomy 23:9 


If there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked.
And it shall be, if the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number.   Deuteronomy 25:1, 2 


The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.   Deuteronomy 28:20 


Thus God rendered the wickedness of Abimelech, which he did unto his father, in slaying his seventy brethren:
And all the evil of the men of Shechem did God render upon their heads: and upon them came the curse of Jotham the son of Jerubbaal.   Judges 9:56, 57 


And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly.   Judges 19:23 


(Now the children of Benjamin heard that the children of Israel were gone up to Mizpeh.) Then said the children of Israel, Tell us, how was this wickedness?
And the Levite, the husband of the woman that was slain, answered and said, I came into Gibeah that belongeth to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to lodge.   Judges 20:3, 4 


And the tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin, saying, What wickedness is this that is done among you?
Now therefore deliver us the men, the children of Belial, which are in Gibeah, that we may put them to death, and put away evil from Israel. But the children of Benjamin would not hearken to the voice of their brethren the children of Israel.   Judges 20:12, 13 


He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.   1 Samuel 2:9 


Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king.   1 Samuel 12:17 


And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart;
And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.   1 Samuel 12:20, 21

Then answered all the wicked men and men of Belial, of those that went with David, and said, Because they went not with us, we will not give them ought of the spoil that we have recovered, save to every man his wife and his children, that they may lead them away, and depart.   1 Samuel 30:22 


Thy hands were not bound, nor thy feet put into fetters: as a man falleth before wicked men, so fellest thou. And all the people wept again over him.   2 Samuel 3:34 


And I am this day weak, though anointed king; and these men the sons of Zeruiah be too hard for me: the LORD shall reward the doer of evil according to his wickedness.   2 Samuel 3:39

For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.   2 Samuel 22:22

But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.   1 Kings 21:25 


And there they burnt incense in all the high places, as did the heathen whom the LORD carried away before them; and wrought wicked things to provoke the LORD to anger:
For they served idols, whereof the LORD had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing.   2 Kings 17:11, 12 


And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.   2 Kings 21:6 


Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:

Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning,
And since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. Moreover I will subdue all thine enemies. Furthermore I tell thee that the LORD will build thee an house.   1 Chronicles 17:9, 10 


Then hear thou from heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, by requiting the wicked, by recompensing his way upon his own head; and by justifying the righteous, by giving him according to his righteousness.   2 Chronicles 6:23 


Yet if they bethink themselves in the land whither they are carried captive, and turn and pray unto thee in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done amiss, and have dealt wickedly;
If they return to thee with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, whither they have carried them captives, and pray toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, and toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house which I have built for thy name:

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.   2 Chronicles 7:14 


And after this did Jehoshaphat king of Judah join himself with Ahaziah king of Israel, who did very wickedly:
And he joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they made the ships in Eziongaber.   2 Chronicles 20:35, 36

And Esther said, The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.   Esther 7:6 


But when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.   Esther 9:25 


There the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest.   Job 3:17

Thou knowest that I am not wicked; and there is none that can deliver out of thine hand.   Job 10:3-7 


If I be wicked, woe unto me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am full of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;
For it increaseth. Thou huntest me as a fierce lion: and again thou shewest thyself marvellous upon me.   Job 10:15, 16 


For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?
For vain men would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass's colt.
If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;
If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles.   Job 11:11-14 


But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost.   Job 11:20 


Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?
Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye so mock him?
He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.   Job 13:7-10 


The wicked man travaileth with pain all his days, and the number of years is hidden to the oppressor.   Job 15:20 


God hath delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked.   Job 16:11 


Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.   Job 18:5 


Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.   Job 18:21 


That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?

In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.   Job 20:22 


This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God.   Job 20:29 


Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power?
Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes.   Job 21:7, 8 


Lo, their good is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger.   Job 21:16, 17 


For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? and where are the dwelling places of the wicked?
Have ye not asked them that go by the way? and do ye not know their tokens,
That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.   Job 21:28-30 


Is not thy wickedness great? and thine iniquities infinite?
For thou hast taken a pledge from thy brother for nought, and stripped the naked of their clothing.   Job 22:5, 6 


Hast thou marked the old way which wicked men have trodden?
Which were cut down out of time, whose foundation was overflown with a flood:
Which said unto God, Depart from us: and what can the Almighty do for them?
Yet he filled their houses with good things: but the counsel of the wicked is far from me.   Job 22:15-18 


They reap every one his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked.   Job 24:6 


The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.   Job 24:20 


My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.   Job 27:4 


Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.   Job 27:7 


This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty.   Job 27:13

Is not destruction to the wicked? and a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity?
Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps?

Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.
For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.
Therefore hearken unto me ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.
For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.
Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.   Job 34:8-12 


Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? and to princes, Ye are ungodly?
How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.   Job 34:18, 19 


He striketh them as wicked men in the open sight of others;
Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:
So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he heareth the cry of the afflicted.   Job 34:26-28 


My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.   Job 34:36 


Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.   Job 35:8 


He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.   Job 36:6 


But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on thee.   Job 36:17 


That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.
And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.   Job 38:13-15 


Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.   Job 40:12 


For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.   Psalm 5:4

The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.   Psalm 9:16, 17 


The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.
The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.   Psalm 10:2-4 


Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.
Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.
Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.   Psalm 10:13-15 


For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.   Psalm 11:2 


The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.   Psalm 11:5, 6 


The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.   Psalm 12:8 


From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.   Psalm 17:9 


Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:

Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.   Psalm 37:20, 21 


For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.   Psalm 37:28 


The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.
The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.   Psalm 37:32-35 


But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.   Psalm 37:38-40 


I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.   Psalm 39:1 


Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.   Psalm 45:7 


But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?
Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee.   Psalm 50:16, 17 


Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.   Psalm 52:7

Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.   Psalm 64:2-4 


As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.   Psalm 68:2 


Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.   Psalm 71:4 


For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.   Psalm 73:3 


They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.   Psalm 73:8 


Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.   Psalm 74:3 


O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.   Psalm 74:19 


I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.   Psalm 94:13 


And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.   Psalm 94:23 


Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.   Psalm 97:10 


I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.
As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.

The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut out.
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable: but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness.   Proverbs 10:24-32 


The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.
When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.
The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.
An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.
By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.   Proverbs 11:5-11 


The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.   Proverbs 11:18 


Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.
The desire of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.   Proverbs 11:21-23 


Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.   Proverbs 11:31 


A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.
A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.
A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.

A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.
The wicked desireth the net of evil men: but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.
The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.   Proverbs 12:10-13 


There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.   Proverbs 12:21 


The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.   Proverbs 12:26 


A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.
Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.   Proverbs 13:5, 6 


The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.   Proverbs 13:9 


A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.   Proverbs 13:17 


The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.   Proverbs 13:25 


The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.   Proverbs 14:11 


He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.
The simple inherit folly: but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.   Proverbs 14:17-19 


The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.   Proverbs 14:32 


In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.
The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.
The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.   Proverbs 15:6-9 


The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words.
He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.
The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.   Proverbs 15:26-29 


The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.   Proverbs 16:4 


It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.   Proverbs 16:12 


A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.   Proverbs 17:4 


He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.   Proverbs 17:15 


A wicked man taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment.   Proverbs 17:23 


When the wicked cometh, then cometh also contempt, and with ignominy reproach.

A false witness shall perish: but the man that heareth speaketh constantly.
A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he directeth his way.   Proverbs 21:27-29 


Lay not wait, O wicked man, against the dwelling of the righteous; spoil not his resting place:
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.   Proverbs 24:15, 16 


Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked:
For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.   Proverbs 24:19, 20 


He that saith unto the wicked, Thou are righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:
But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.   Proverbs 24:24, 25 


Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.   Proverbs 25:5 


A righteous man falling down before the wicked is as a troubled fountain, and a corrupt spring.   Proverbs 25:26 


Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross.   Proverbs 26:23 


Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shewed before the whole congregation.   Proverbs 26:26 


The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.   Proverbs 28:1

When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.   Proverbs 28:12 


As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.   Proverbs 28:15 


When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.   Proverbs 28:28 


When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.   Proverbs 29:2 


The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it.   Proverbs 29:7 


If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.   Proverbs 29:12 


When the wicked are multiplied, transgression increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall.   Proverbs 29:16 


An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.   Proverbs 29:27 


Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.   Proverbs 30:20 


And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.
I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.   Ecclesiastes 3:16, 17 


All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness.
Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself ?
Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?
It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all.   Ecclesiastes 7:15-18 


I applied mine heart to know, and to search, and to seek out wisdom, and the reason of things, and to know the wickedness of folly, even of foolishness and madness:
And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.   Ecclesiastes 7:25, 26 


There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.
All this have I seen, and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt.
And so I saw the wicked buried, who had come and gone from the place of the holy, and they were forgotten in the city where they had so done: this is also vanity.   Ecclesiastes 8:8-10 


But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.
There is a vanity which is done upon the earth; that there be just men, unto whom it happeneth according to the work of the wicked; again, there be wicked men, to whom it happeneth according to the work of the righteous: I said that this also is vanity.   Ecclesiastes 8:13, 14 


All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.   Ecclesiastes 9:2 


Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.   Isaiah 3:11 


Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!   Isaiah 5:23 


For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.   Isaiah 9:18 


But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.   Isaiah 11:4 


And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.   Isaiah 13:11 


The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the rulers.   Isaiah 14:5 


Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.   Isaiah 26:10 


The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.   Isaiah 32:7 


For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.   Isaiah 47:10 


There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.   Isaiah 48:22 


And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.   Isaiah 53:9 


Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.   Isaiah 55:7 


But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.   Isaiah 57:20, 21 


Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.
Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?
Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.   Isaiah 58:4-8 


And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.   Jeremiah 1:16 


Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.   Jeremiah 2:19 


Why trimmest thou thy way to seek love? therefore hast thou also taught the wicked ones thy ways.   Jeremiah 2:33 


Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.   Jeremiah 3:2 


O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?

For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.

Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.
When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.   Ezekiel 33:8-15

Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.   2 Peter 3:17 


I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.

Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.   1 John 3:12 


We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.   1 John 5:18, 19
