Common Question

The common questions.

  •  Question

I have always been a curious person for as long as I can remember.
Frequently asking questions, listening to answers, and seeking to know the truth.

As a child, people would tell me lies and I would believe every word.
Later they would laugh at me and say they were only joking.

The devil is a liar and the father of lies. - John 8:44

If you repeat a lie frequently enough, people will eventually begin to believe it.
Sometimes respectable pastors, teachers, or leaders will repeat a lie.
They will say that it is the truth, and not even know that it is a lie.

We should be humble enough to admit that some of our opinions could be wrong.

I always try to verify and confirm all information and facts from several sources, before making a final decision on what to believe.

Know what you believe and why you believe it.

"You shall know the truth and the truth will set you free." - John 8:32
You should ask God to give you wisdom and show you the truth. - James 1:5 - 28811

Who wouldn't get frustrated, if they got pulled over by a police officer for speeding when no one is in sight for miles? I don't know of one person. Lots of people feel that to be ridiculous and injustice. Maybe it is ridiculous but if the police didn't hold to their word, that you would be pulled over for speeding, they would lose the respect they deserve. Some laws are enforced to bring a serious attitude to the issue. For example, stepping foot on a construction site is a felony. Why such a hard judgment on such a harmless action? Because the government wants to nip crime in the bud; no one wants their expensive equipment stolen. We need to uphold a submissive attitude toward the laws and the law enforcers. - Michelle Rooks - 162
