East Wind

And, behold, seven thin ears and blasted with the east wind sprung up after them.   Genesis 41:6 

And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them:
And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told this unto the magicians; but there was none that could declare it to me.   Genesis 41:23, 24 

And the seven thin and ill favored kine that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine.   Genesis 41:27 

And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.   Exodus 10:13 

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.   Exodus 14:21 

Should a wise man utter vain knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind?
Should he reason with unprofitable talk? or with speeches wherewith he can do no good?
Yea, thou castest off fear, and restrainest prayer before God.   Job 15:2-4 

The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place.   Job 27:21 

By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?
Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;
To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;
To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?

Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?

Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.   Psalm 48:7 

He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind.   Psalm 78:26 

In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind.   Isaiah 27:8

They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.   Habakkuk 1:9
