Face Down

And Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it was that sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph's brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth.   Genesis 42:6 

But if thou wilt not send him, we will not go down: for the man said unto us, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.   Genesis 43:5

Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof.   2 Kings 13:14 

And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.   2 Chronicles 7:3 

And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.   Psalm 89:23
