It was Saturday night at 11:00 PM, and I had picked up my daughter from babysitting. She was very tired after a long day and requested we go
straight home. We just got off the Interstate traveling about 50 MPH. Suddenly our rear
tire exploded, and shredded into many pieces. I was able to stop the car beside the road, just inches before the pavement turned to grass. My
daughter asked what we were going to do now, and if she should call someone. I said give me a minute to pray about what to do next. It was late, dark, limited money, businesses closed, and friends asleep. Within two minutes a car pulled up and parked. The driver got out, said he was a mechanic, and asked if we needed any help. He had everything needed to change the tire including: lights, jacks, and power tools. The tire was changed in less
then 10 minutes. He did everything, and requested nothing in return. He said he was a
Christian, and was new in the area. I think we now have a new friend.
