God Is Judge

And Rachel said, God hath judged me, and hath also heard my voice, and hath given me a son: therefore called she his name Dan.   Genesis 30:6 

The God of Abraham, and the God of Nahor, the God of their father, judge betwixt us. And Jacob sware by the fear of his father Isaac.   Genesis 31:53 

When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.   Exodus 18:16 

Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.   Deuteronomy 16:18 

And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.   Deuteronomy 17:12 

And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God.   Joshua 24:1 

And it came to pass, when he made mention of the ark of God, that he fell from off the seat backward by the side of the gate, and his neck brake, and he died: for he was an old man, and heavy. And he had judged Israel forty years.   1 Samuel 4:18 

And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment.   1 Kings 3:28 

And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honor, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:
Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honor, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.   2 Chronicles 1:11, 12 

O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.   2 Chronicles 20:12 

And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know them not.   Ezra 7:25 

Let now our rulers of all the congregation stand, and let all them which have taken strange wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders of every city, and the judges thereof, until the fierce wrath of our God for this matter be turned from us.   Ezra 10:14 

Shall any teach God knowledge? seeing he judgeth those that are high.   Job 21:22 

And thou sayest, How doth God know? can he judge through the dark cloud?
Thick clouds are a covering to him, that he seeth not; and he walketh in the circuit of heaven.   Job 22:13, 14 

This also were an iniquity to be punished by the judge: for I should have denied the God that is above.   Job 31:28 

God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.   Psalm 7:11 

Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.   Psalm 35:24 

Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.   Psalm 43:1 

And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.   Psalm 50:6 

Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.   Psalm 54:1 

So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.   Psalm 58:11 

A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.   Psalm 68:5 

But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.   Psalm 75:7 

God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.   Psalm 82:1 

Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.   Psalm 82:8 

I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.   Ecclesiastes 3:17 

Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.   Ezekiel 18:30

But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.   Acts 4:19 

And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.   Acts 7:7 

This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.   Acts 7:35 

And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.   Acts 10:42 

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.   Acts 13:46 

Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?
And they that stood by said, Revilest thou God's high priest?
Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.   Acts 23:3-5 

And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God, unto our fathers:
Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope's sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews.   Acts 26:6, 7 

And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
For there is no respect of persons with God.   Romans 2:3-11 

In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.   Romans 2:16 

God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.   Romans 3:4-8 

Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.   Romans 14:3, 4 

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.   1 Corinthians 4:5 

But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.   1 Corinthians 5:13 

Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?
But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.   1 Corinthians 11:13-15 

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.   2 Timothy 4:1, 2 

To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things that that of Abel.   Hebrews 12:23, 24 

Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.   Hebrews 13:4 

For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.   1 Peter 4:6 

Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.   Revelation 18:8 

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.   Revelation 20:12
