Good Name

And Leah said, God hath endued me with a good dowry; now will my husband dwell with me, because I have born him six sons: and she called his name Zebulun.   Genesis 30:20 

And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.   Exodus 33:19

A GOOD name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.   Proverbs 22:1 

A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth.   Ecclesiastes 7:1 

Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.   Song of Solomon 1:3 

The LORD called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.   Jeremiah 11:16 

And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.   Jeremiah 33:9 

O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
