Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the  sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his  holy Spirit within him?
That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the  water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?
That led them through the deep, as an  horse in the wilderness, that they should not stumble?
As a beast goeth down into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest: so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name.   Isaiah 63:10-14

As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord  GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my  holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols.
For in mine  holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, saith the Lord  GOD, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them in the land, serve me: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the firstfruits of your oblations, with all your  holy things.   Ezekiel 20:39, 40

But I had pity for mine  holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went.
Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord  GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine  holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.   Ezekiel 36:20-22

When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the  holy place into the utter court, but there they shall lay their  garments wherein they minister; for they are  holy; and shall put on other  garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people.   Ezekiel 42:13, 14

And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my  holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.
In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my  holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.   Ezekiel 43:7, 8

Moreover, when ye shall divide by lot the land for inheritance, ye shall offer an oblation unto the LORD, an  holy portion of the land: the length shall be the length of five and twenty thousand reeds, and the breadth shall be ten thousand. This shall be  holy in all the borders thereof round about.
Of this there shall be for the sanctuary five hundred in length, with five hundred in breadth, square round about; and fifty cubits round about for the suburbs thereof.
And of this measure shalt thou measure the length of five and twenty thousand, and the breadth of ten thousand: and in it shall be the sanctuary and the most  holy place.
The  holy portion of the land shall be for the priests the ministers of the sanctuary, which shall come near to minister unto the LORD: and it shall be a place for their houses, and an  holy place for the sanctuary.
And the five and twenty thousand of length, and the ten thousand of breadth shall also the Levites, the ministers of the house, have for themselves, for a possession for twenty chambers.
And ye shall appoint the possession of the city five thousand broad, and five and twenty thousand long, over against the oblation of the  holy portion: it shall be for the whole house of Israel.
And a portion shall be for the prince on the one side and on the other side of the oblation of the  holy portion, and of the possession of the city, before the oblation of the  holy portion, and before the possession of the city, from the west side westward, and from the east side eastward: and the length shall be over against one of the portions, from the west border unto the east border.   Ezekiel 45:1-7

And for them, even for the priests, shall be this  holy oblation; toward the north five and twenty thousand in length, and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in the midst thereof.
It shall be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept my charge, which went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.
And this oblation of the land that is offered shall be unto them a thing most  holy by the border of the Levites.
And over against the border of the priests the Levites shall have five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth: all the length shall be five and twenty thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.
And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange, nor alienate the firstfruits of the land: for it is  holy unto the LORD.   Ezekiel 48:10-14

And the residue in length over against the oblation of the  holy portion shall be ten thousand eastward, and ten thousand westward: and it shall be over against the oblation of the  holy portion; and the increase thereof shall be for food unto them that serve the city.
And they that serve the city shall serve it out of all the tribes of Israel.
All the oblation shall be five and twenty thousand by five and twenty thousand: ye shall offer the  holy oblation foursquare, with the possession of the city.
And the residue shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the  holy oblation, and of the possession of the city, over against the five and twenty thousand of the oblation toward the east border, and westward over against the five and twenty thousand toward the west border, over against the portions for the prince: and it shall be the  holy oblation; and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof.   Ezekiel 48:18-21

But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my  God, and in whom is the spirit of the  holy  gods: and before him I told the dream, saying,
O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the  holy  gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof.   Daniel 4:8, 9

I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an  holy one came down from  heaven;
He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the  tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches:
Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and  brass, in the tender  grass of the  field; and let it be wet with the dew of  heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the  grass of the earth:
Let his  heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's  heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.
This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the  holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now thou, O Belteshazzar, declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but thou art able; for the spirit of the  holy  gods is in thee.   Daniel 4:13-18

And whereas the king saw a watcher and an  holy one coming down from  heaven, and saying, Hew the  tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and  brass, in the tender  grass of the  field; and let it be wet with the dew of  heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the  field, till seven times pass over him;
This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king:
That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the  field, and they shall make thee to eat  grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of  heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.   Daniel 4:23-25

There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the  holy  gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the  gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers;
Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.   Daniel 5:11, 12

And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the  holy people.   Daniel 8:24

And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my  God for the  holy mountain of my  God;
Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.   Daniel 9:20, 21

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy  holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most  Holy.   Daniel 9:24

Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his  heart shall be against the  holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the  Holy Ghost.   Matthew 1:18-20

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the  Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
By the word of truth, by the power of  God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
By honour and dishonour, by  evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true;
As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;
As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.   2 Corinthians 6:6-10

Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my  flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:
Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of  God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of  God;
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
To whom  God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Who hath saved us, and called us with an  holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.   2 Timothy 1:9-11

Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.   Titus 1:8, 9

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the  Holy Ghost;

Wherefore (as the  Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the  Holy Ghost,
And have tasted the good word of  God, and the powers of the world to come,

For such an high priest became us, who is  holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the  heavens;
Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.   Hebrews 7:26, 27

The  Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Neither by the  blood of goats and calves, but by his own  blood he entered in once into the  holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.   Hebrews 9:8-12

For Christ is not entered into the  holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into  heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of  God for us:
Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the  holy place every year with  blood of others;
For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.   Hebrews 9:24-26

Whereof the  Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

For after this manner in the old time the  holy women also, who trusted in  God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:

That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the  holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.   2 Peter 3:2-4

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all  holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of  God, wherein the  heavens being on  fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent  heat?
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new  heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.   2 Peter 3:11-13
