Please support the Incapacitated Persons Legal Protection Act of 2005. I had a close friend who was in a similar condition to Terri Shiavo (actually, much less responsive) who recovered and was able to speak and interact with others. She also had been denied hydration/nutrition for a period of time (the doctors had convinced her husband that there was no hope for her recovery). The time I was able to spend with her after she was able to speak again was precious to both of us and I would not have wanted to miss that opportunity.
