Song

Wherefore didst thou flee away secretly, and steal away from me; and didst not tell me, that I might have sent thee away with mirth, and with songs, with tabret, and with harp?
And hast not suffered me to kiss my sons and my daughters? thou hast now done foolishly in so doing.   Genesis 31:27, 28 

Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.   Exodus 15:1, 2 

Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it:
The princes digged the well, the nobles of the people digged it, by the direction of the lawgiver, with their staves. And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah:
And from Mattanah to Nahaliel: and from Nahaliel to Bamoth:
And from Bamoth in the valley, that is in the country of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looketh toward Jeshimon.   Numbers 21:17-20 

Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.
For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant.
And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I sware.
Moses therefore wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Israel.   Deuteronomy 31:19-22 

And Moses spake in the ears of all the congregation of Israel the words of this song, until they were ended.   Deuteronomy 31:30 

And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.   Deuteronomy 32:44 

Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.   Judges 5:12 

And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.   2 Samuel 22:1-3 

And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.   1 Kings 4:32 

And these are they whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.   1 Chronicles 6:31 

And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skillful.   1 Chronicles 15:22 

And David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also had upon him an ephod of linen.   1 Chronicles 15:27 

All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the LORD, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight.   1 Chronicles 25:6, 7 

And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also with the trumpets, and with the instruments ordained by David king of Israel.   2 Chronicles 29:27 

For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.   Nehemiah 12:46 

And now am I their song, yea, I am their byword.   Job 30:9 

But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?
There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.   Job 35:10-12 

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.   Psalm 28:7 

Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.   Psalm 32:7 

Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.   Psalm 33:3 

And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.   Psalm 40:3 

Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the day time, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.   Psalm 42:8 

They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards.   Psalm 69:12 

I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.   Psalm 69:30 

I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.   Psalm 77:6 

O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.   Psalm 96:1

The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.   Psalm 118:14 

Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.   Psalm 119:54 

For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.
How shall we sing the LORD's song in a strange land?

As he that taketh away a garment in cold weather, and as vinegar upon nitre, so is he that singeth songs to an heavy heart.   Proverbs 25:20 

It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.   Ecclesiastes 7:5 

The song of songs, which is Solomon's.   Song of Solomon 1:1 

Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:
And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.   Isaiah 5:1, 2 

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.   Isaiah 12:2 

Take an harp, go about the city, thou harlot that hast been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou mayest be remembered.   Isaiah 23:16 

They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.   Isaiah 24:9

And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.   Isaiah 35:10 

The LORD was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD.   Isaiah 38:20 

Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.   Isaiah 42:10 

I was a derision to all my people; and their song all the day.   Lamentations 3:14

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.   Ephesians 5:19-21 

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.   Colossians 3:16 

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.   Revelation 5:9, 10 

And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.   Revelation 14:3 

And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.   Revelation 15:3
